QARP, eyes closed, hunched forward. Clacking when grabbed. NOLO. FIC is not added to tx plan so wasn't aware he had started getting any yet. Collected fecal. Had to clean off vent and tail - lots of liquidy, smelly mutes. FF is more of a force tweezer feed. 

* Eye damage is notable but this bird was found on the road 9/14 and transferred to us 9/18. AWR noted an intake keel of 2.5-3 on 9/15. Minor signs of fresh signs of damage may have had time to resolve and body condition had time to decline.

Flying around when going to handle. BAR. I am concerned about the seemingly old eye injury and the fact that he also is emaciated, it leads me to think that he is thin due to the injury. Will get second opinion before making a final call, but likelihood of successful release is low.

Bird presents BAR and clacking. Admitted to AWR 9/15 - no problems noted, slightly low BCS, 126g. No notes on prior feeding or medications given. 
Emaciated, otherwise NSF on body. OD has a significant tear laterally. Would not keep nictitating membrane open in OS enough for me to see whole eye. Reeval tomorrow. For now, set up in KR2 kennel with heating pad underneath.
